“Hi, can you hear me?” Dr, Moore asked the man.

The man’s eye looked around, observing everything around him before he spoke.

“Yes, I can hear you.” He responded.

“Good, good. Vital signs are great, and bodily functions seem to be working well.” Dr. Moore said out loud as he took notes on his tablet.

“Where am I?” The man asked.

“Well, sir, if you can tell me your name, I will answer your question.” 

“My name?” He looked confused. “My name is Patrick Star.” 

Dr. Moore laughed immediately, “Well, I see you have a sense of humor, no one before you has ever cracked jokes.” Dr. Moore admitted.

“My name is James, James Wilson.” He assured.

“Good, so that means your memory should be intact.” Dr. Moore stepped closer and observed James. ” What’s the last thing you remember?”

“The last thing I remember… I was hit by a car after saving my wife.” James replied, and as the words left his mouth, panic began to set in. “I should be dead, how am I here?”

“Sir, stay calm. I brought you back with very complex technology.” Dr. Moore assured James.

“Wait, if I’m here… is my funky ass wife here too?” 

“Sir, no, your wife is not here. Now, I need to ask you some questions, if you don’t mind answering them.” Dr. Moore tried to get James under control.

“She put you up to this, didn’t she? Even in death, I can’t rest.” James gripped.

“I assure you, your wife had nothing to do with this. Now, Mr. Wilson, please focus so I can ask you a few questions.” Dr. Moore started becoming visibly frustrated. 

“Oh, so you know her? Yeah, I don’t trust it. I’m not answering any questions until you can prove that my wife ain’t behind this.” 

Dr. Moore walked over to his computer terminal and pressed the termination button.

Termination protocol initiated. 

“Hey, what are you doing over there.” Mr. Wilson wondered.

System terminating and preparing for a reboot…

Dr. Moore stared at his computer terminal, debating if he should give it another go. “Initiate system shutdown, that’s enough of Mr. Wilson for one day. We’ll try again tomorrow.”
